New Beginnings Animal Rescue, a new federally recognized charity that is dedicated to animal welfare through-out Southeastern Oakland County and staffed volunteers. Many pet owners are facing difficult economic times. NBAR has created a food pantry to help people feed their companion animals. The goal is to keep people and their pets together. Over 40 pets have been helped since mid December.

New Beginnings Animal Rescue will be having a fund raiser and silent auction for the pantry on Thursday March 10th from 5 to 9 pm at Farina’s Banquet Center at 24885 Coolidge in Berkley. The door prize is a 40 inch flat screen TV. The tickets for the event are $10 and are available at:
Wild Birds Unlimited 28558 Woodward, Royal Oak and Berkley Animal Clinic 3996 West Twelve Mile, Berkley and at the door the night of the event. There will be complimentary hors d’ oeuvres and a cash bar. The silent auction includes an autographed Detroit Tigers’ ball and picture, spa packages, gift cards, jewelry, wine, and more.

Bring a bag of cat or dog food and receive another ticket for the door prize.
